Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of YourNextUser, operated by YourNextUser (“we”, “us”, “our”), including our website at yournextuser.com and mobile applications (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You may sign in using Google, Apple, or phone (SMS). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription and Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy.
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

In-App Purchases (iOS)

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are governed by Apple's Terms and Conditions. Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to the iOS application. Subscription management and cancellation can be done through your Apple ID account settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Automate actions on third-party platforms (Reddit, LinkedIn, X, etc.) through the Service
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data beyond what the Service explicitly provides
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its data without written permission
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Upload or transmit malicious code or content
• Impersonate any person or entity

5. Third-Party Platform Compliance

When using features that access third-party platforms (Reddit, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.), you agree to comply with those platforms' respective terms of service and policies. You are solely responsible for how you use any information surfaced from those platforms. The Service displays public content for human review — you must not use it to automate interactions on those platforms.

Specifically for Reddit: YourNextUser only prepares draft replies and posts for your review. No content is submitted to Reddit without your deliberate, manual approval on each individual item. You agree not to use the Service to send bulk messages, vote manipulation, or automated submissions of any kind. Reddit API content is not retained beyond your session, not used to train machine learning models, and not monetized or redistributed without Reddit's explicit written permission. YourNextUser operates under Reddit's standard API terms; commercial Data API use requires separate written approval from Reddit, which you are responsible for obtaining if applicable to your use case.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content from third-party platforms) are owned by YourNextUser and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you provide (product descriptions, etc.). You grant us a limited license to use your content solely to operate and improve the Service.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SPECIFIC RESULTS WILL BE ACHIEVED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOURNEXTUSER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YourNextUser, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice where practicable. You may cancel your account at any time. Sections 6, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. SMS Terms

YourNextUser uses SMS solely to deliver one-time passcodes (OTP) for account sign-in and verification. By providing your phone number and requesting a code, you consent to receive a single SMS message containing your verification code. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact support@yournextuser.com. YourNextUser will not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
