YourNextUser (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the YourNextUser platform, including the website at yournextuser.com and our mobile applications (collectively, the “Service”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, phone number (for SMS sign-in)
• Product information: your product or service name, description, and target audience
• Payment information: processed by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration
• Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address
• Analytics: via privacy-respecting analytics tools

Third-party platform data

When you connect social platforms (Reddit, LinkedIn, X, etc.), we access only the public data you authorize. We display this data within your dashboard for your review. We do not store Reddit usernames or personal profile data beyond the current session, and we never automate posting, commenting, or direct messages on any platform.

Reddit OAuth and user-approved posting

YourNextUser never posts to Reddit automatically. Reddit content is submitted only after the authenticated user reviews the full draft and source discussion, and deliberately clicks Post. The AI generates draft text for your review only — it does not train on Reddit data, does not retain Reddit API content beyond your active session, and does not access private messages, voting, or account management. If you revoke Reddit OAuth access (via your Reddit account settings under “Authorized Apps”), YourNextUser immediately loses all Reddit access. We comply with Reddit's rate limits and do not exceed the API quota assigned to our application.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Service
• To send transactional emails (receipts, OTP codes, product updates)
• To surface relevant public content from connected platforms for your review
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To respond to support requests
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We share your information only with:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Twilio — SMS OTP delivery
• Vercel — hosting and edge functions
• Law enforcement — when required by law

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@yournextuser.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of a valid deletion request.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect Service functionality.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the updated policy.
